Stepping Into Unity and Oneness

As we face yet another horrific slaughter, this time in Nice, we have a choice as to how we will react. Do we immediately go to blame? Pointing fingers at "the other?" Or will we take this as another opportunity to realize that we all need to come together. To understand that the more divided we are, the less chance we have of overcoming hate.

I believe we are being called on to step into unity and oneness in a way that is different than anything we have faced before. How will you react? How can we step forward together?

We can do better. We must do better. We can Act As One.

This is the state motto of Kentucky. It is on our seal and our flag. It shows a frontiersman in buckskin shaking hands with a gentleman in a suit. I was born in Kentucky and have lived here for 46 of my 72 years. These are words to live by.
