How would we act if we truly believed we are one?

If we truly believed that each of our actions affects everyone else?
What
would we do differently each day?

Welcome and thank you for visiting us!

I started Act As One because I believe that being aware and living from a place of understanding that we are all one is the only way lasting and effective change will happen in our world. We are all on this beautiful blue marble together. From my travels around the world, I have learned at a deep level that regardless of where we live on this planet, what we have in common is far greater than our differences. My intent with Act As One is to encourage us to live our lives from a place of valuing our sameness, to be soft and reasonable with each other.

These words are even more meaningful now as, globally; we face the pandemic of Covid-19 together. It can be challenging to know what to do as often conflicting recommendations are given. Clearly, our healthcare providers are learning more about this virus everyday. And as they learn more, we will undoubtedly be given more guidelines. We have an opportunity to Act As One and do everything we can to protect others and ourselves. Stay safe and healthy and, if your comfortable, go to the top of this page and click on Submit Your Story and let us know how you’re doing.

Act As One In the News

Martin Luther King famously said, "The question is not if we will be extremists, but what kind of extremists will we be. Extremists for love or hate?" Here are some examples of being an extremist for love. Examples of Acting As One.

Bringing running water to the Americans who need it most

A non-profit organization that I support is Dig Deep and their branch, the Navajo Water Project.  They concentrate their much needed work in bring running water to native people in need here in the United States.  Between 30% - 40% of  Native Americans who live on reservations lack running water.  This is heart-breaking when we live in such a abundant nation.

The non-profits I support fully use 100% of all donations to fund their cause.  Dig Deep uses donations from a select group of people to fund their operation costs.  Any donation, regardless of the amount, that is received for water is used just for that and nothing else.

For many of us, it's easy to take clean running water for granted.  We walk to our faucets and simple turn the tap.  So many of our native brothers and sisters do to have this luxury.  Please help in bringing this basic right to first nations people.  Any amount is appreciated and it all helps.

A good and easy way to Act As One.

Inspiring women who have access to clean water to get it to those who do not.

I am very proud to be a part of this global movement of getting clean water to those around the world who do not have access to potable water.

We do this by delivering water filters that are capable of filtering one million gallons of water.   That is enough water for 100 people for up to 5-10 years depending on usage.  Each filter costs $50 and fully 100% of all fundraising is used to purchase water filters.
